Priya Sharma, a Bollywood scriptwriter, has reportedly served Randeep Hooda with a court notice accusing him and his colleagues of failing to deliver on their pledges and even threatening her.
Priya added in her statement that Randeep and his colleagues guaranteed her of working with her and accepted screenplays and songs written by her over the last 15 years, according to a news portal report.
She further stated that they kept delaying the work, and that when she asked for the scripts to be returned, they threatened her. Priya is said to have submitted a legal notice to Randeep and others, requesting Rs 10 crore in compensation through her lawyer.
She has sent an email to the Range Commissioner of Haryana’s Director General of Police, Faridabad, expressing her dissatisfaction and demanding a public apology. According to sources, Priya sent over 1,200 songs and 40 stories via email and WhatsApp to Randeep Hooda, Asha Hooda, Mandeep Hooda, Ajli Hooda, Panchali Choudhary, and Renuka Pillai.
Priya’s lawyer has indicated that she is seeking Rs 10 crore in compensation for the harassment she has endured for the past eight years. Currently, neither Randeep nor his representatives have responded to the legal notice or her claimed allegations.
