The film will be released in theatres on May 20, 2022, following the completion of principal filming. The film is based on a true story that shook the world of children’s rights and human rights.

Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway was filmed largely in Estonia and parts of India. On December 7, Emmay Entertainment confirmed the release date in a tweet that read: “With the odds against her, this mother must fight it all and more to be strong for her children!
