After giving a thrilling performance in the Mardaani, Rani Mukerji is back with another Women empowerment-based movie the sequel Mardaani 2.
Rani Mukerji’s upcoming film Mardaani 2 will see her reprising the role of police officer Shivani Shivaji Roy. The trailer of the film said that it was inspired by true events.
The incidents on the Yamuna Expressway were brutal. The accused snatched a car and then looted and raped women. When arrested, the young criminals were seen with no remorse. Resulting in cops to suspect that all similar incidents could have been conducted by them.
“Mardaani 2 has an important social message and the entire plan has been built to spread this message as wide, to as many people as possible. I’m overwhelmed by the reactions and really happy that our trailer has struck a chord with audiences,” Rani Mukerji said.
