From Padmaavat to Gully Boy, we know the level which Ranveer Singh can go to get into the skin of his character. His upcoming Yash Raj film Jayeshbhai Jordaar went on the floors today. Fans were treated with the first look of Ranveer from the film.
Ranveer has been taking diction classes to perfect his Gujarati accent. In the first look, makers have got Ranveer’s look right with a moustache and side-partitioned hair. Polo T-shirt, high waist denim make Ranveer’s character a true-blue Gujarati.
Ranveer, on an online portal, said, “As Charlie Chaplin once said, ‘To truly laugh, you must be able to take your pain, and play with it!’. Jayeshbhai is an unlikely hero – an ordinary man, who ends up doing something extraordinary when he’s hurled into a threatening situation. Jayeshbhai is sensitive and compassionate. He believes in equal rights between men and women in a society that is deeply rooted in patriarchal ideals, practices, and doctrines.”
The film has gone on the floors today. Reports are Arjun Reddy’s Shalini Pandey will be seen opposite Ranveer in the film.
