Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2 is shifting into full-throttle promo mode this Holi week. As of March 5, 2026, the makers have lined up a two-step reveal that begins with fresh posters today and culminates in the film’s trailer launch tomorrow, March 6. With the sequel carrying the official title Dhurandhar: The Revenge, the campaign is clearly designed to tap into the franchise’s espionage scale and Singh’s undercover-agent mystique.
The sequel’s buzz has stayed unusually steady because the first film ended with a cliffhanger, and audiences have been waiting for a clear look at what’s next for Singh’s operative, now deeper inside enemy territory. Today’s poster drop is expected to set the tone, before the trailer goes live online on March 6.
The Latest Update
The trailer of Dhurandhar: The Revenge will be released online on March 6, with a fresh set of posters scheduled to be unveiled on March 5.
The poster announcing the trailer (digital) launch will be out today. The trailer too will be out in the first half at around 12:12 pm on March 6th. Also, the advance bookings in India will start very soon once the trailer is out. The music launch as told earlier will happen on March 12th at the Jio World Drive in BKC, Mumbai.
The clarification comes after false chatter suggested a March 3 trailer launch. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh publicly shut that down in a post that read, “#Xclusiv… DHURANDHAR THE REVENGE TRAILER TOMORROW? NOT TRUE… A section of the media has been circulating reports that the trailer of the eagerly awaited #DhurandharTheRevenge will be unveiled tomorrow [Tuesday, 3 March 2026].” He added, “Let’s set the record straight, the makers have never issued any official announcement stating that the trailer will drop tomorrow.”
Dhurandhar 2 is slated to release in cinemas on March 19, 2026, and unlike the first film, it is being mounted as a multi-language release across Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
What We Know About Dhurandhar 2 So Far
Dhurandhar 2, officially titled Dhurandhar: The Revenge, is written and directed by Aditya Dhar and produced by Aditya Dhar, Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar. The first instalment’s core cast included Ranveer Singh alongside R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt and Arjun Rampal.
The franchise is built around a high-stakes espionage saga set against the backdrop of an undercover mission in Karachi, where an Indian intelligence operative infiltrates criminal networks and political circles to dismantle a terror group. The sequel continues the story with Hamza Ali Mazhari, an undercover Indian agent now even more embedded within Pakistan’s underworld.
Ranveer Singh’s Recent And Upcoming Work
