Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ranveer Singh are one of the blockbuster pair of the industry. Recently there were reports that SLB wants to cast Ranveer to his much talked about film Baiju Bawra. The film will kick-off after Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi. Now according to the latest update, it is not cleared that whether the Padmaavat actor will join Bhansali or not.
As per the reports, the actor is facing date issues. Since he is occupied with Karan Johar’s magnum opus Takht for which the actor has already allotted his dates.
Baiju Bawra is a remake of the old classic which was announced last year. The old film starred Bharat Bhushan and Meena Kumari. Bhansali wanted Ranveer to step into Bharat Bhushan and Meena Kumari’s shoes.
Reports also suggest that the Gully Boy actor is s working out if he can churn out dates the ambitious project of SLB.
Meanwhile, Ranveer is eyeing on 2 releases including ’83 and Jayeshbhai Jordaar in the coming time. The actor will also be working with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, and Anil Kapoor in Takht which is set for a December 24, 2021 release.
