Taking a peaceful break in the Maldives earlier this month, Taapsee Pannu is set to roll for the much-awaited sports drama Rashmi Rocket. The actress has already started working on Haseen Dillruba post which she was supposed to head to Bhuj for her next. However, due to the heavy rainfall, the schedule has now been postponed.
According to the reports, the heavy rail in Bhuj and neighbouring areas have covered the salt pans with water. Thus the film’s producer Pranjal Khandhdiya have decided not to go ahead with the original schedule.
However, the makers are keen not to waste the time and use the same schedule to shoot in Pune. According to the producer they have just swapped the dates and will shoot in Bhuj later. Since the Bhuj schedule is important to the narrative of the story they can’t skip it.
Written by Nanda Periyasamy, Aniruddha Guha, and Kanika Dhillon Rashmi Rocket is helmed by Akarsh Khurana who directed Karwaan.
The film is produced by Ronnie Screwvala along with Neha Anand and Pranjal Khandhdiya, is set to release in 2021.
