Helmed and produced by Reema Kagti under her co-banner with Zoya Akhta, the film stars Made In Heaven actor Shashank Arora and The White Tiger actor Adarsh Gourav in lead roles. It’s written by Masaan fame Varun Grover. The comedy-drama will be reportedly made on a low-budget.
It will focus on communal tension, economic depression and other key challenges that these two amateur filmmakers have to manage while collecting content for their superhero parody.
It’s placed against the backdrop of a small town in India’s corner. As per Peeping Moon, Kagti and Amazon Prime Video will collaborate for it.
It’s in pre-production stage and is anticipated to go on floors next year, releasing in the second half of 2023. Makers are pondering on a 2-month long schedule of the film in Nashik, beginning January 2023.
