REVEALED! Director S Shankar Discloses The Reason Behind Putting Ranveer Singh’s Film With Him On Hold

Ranveer Singh and S Shankar's hindi remake of 'Aparichit' has been put on hold. Director reveals the reason.

Bollywood fans are eagerly anticipating the return of actor Ranveer Singh to the silver screen, following his last appearance in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Amid this anticipation, exciting news has surfaced about his future projects, including a potential collaboration with renowned director S Shankar.

Speculation had been rife for some time about Ranveer Singh teaming up with S Shankar for the Hindi remake of the film Aparichit.

S Shankar REVEALS His Film With Ranveer Singh IS On Hold

Recently, in an interview with Pinkvilla, Shankar shed light on the status of this project. Known for his upcoming films Game Changer and Indian 2, set for release in 2024,

Shankar revealed, “We had plans for the Hindi remake of Aparichit, but after the announcement, several other projects came up. Our producers are keen on something even bigger than Aparichit, so it’s currently on hold. We’ll decide its fate after these two releases.”

The news hints at a potential delay for Ranveer Singh’s fans eager to see him in a fresh avatar. If Aparichit gets remade, it promises to showcase Singh’s versatility in a challenging role, adding to the excitement surrounding his future projects.

Ranveer Singh’s Work Front

Speaking of his immediate plans, Ranveer Singh is gearing up for the highly anticipated Singham Again, slated for a Diwali release. The film features a stellar cast including Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, and Deepika Padukone. 

Additionally, Singh will share the screen with Kiara Advani in Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3.
