Karan Johar‘s upcoming action film Kill, featuring Lakshya, Raghav Juyal, and Tanya Maniktala, has been creating a buzz. The recently released trailer has only added to the excitement, trending on Dharma Productions‘ YouTube channel.
Amid this anticipation, the filmmakers have shared details about Lakshya’s rigorous preparation for his role as Amrit in the film.
Lakshya’s Transformation For Kill
In a behind-the-scenes YouTube video titled “Introducing Lakshya as Amrit,” Lakshya talks about his intensive training for the role. Amrit is a vulnerable man who becomes a lethal force after months of gruelling preparation.
Lakshya’s daily routine included four to five hours of martial arts training. His commitment to the project was steady. Amrit is portrayed as a soldier who draws strength from his love to protect his loved ones.
Lakshya’s dedication to the role was evident, as he sustained injuries almost daily during the shoot. He described these injuries as his “loyal companions” throughout the filming process.
Lakshya’s transformation and dedication did not go unnoticed by the production team. They praised his acting and action skills, with producer Guneet Monga remarking, “We’ve seen a star being born.”
Lakshya prepared for eight to nine months for the action sequences in Kill. His martial arts training, which lasted four to five hours each day, involved intense physical effort. Despite suffering injuries daily, Lakshya remained committed to his role, viewing it as the biggest challenge and opportunity of his career.

Team Kill Reaches NYC Post Trailer Launch
Following the trailer launch in Mumbai, the Kill team has arrived in New York City. The film is set to premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival (Escape from Tribeca).
Starring Lakshya, Raghav Juyal, and Tanya Maniktala, and directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, Kill is slated to release in Indian theatres on July 5.
