It has now been revealed the man behind the menacing Sarkata: Is jammu-based Sunil Kumar. Known as ‘The Great Khali of Jammu,’ Kumar stands out even among giants. While The Great Khali is 7 feet 1 inch tall, Sunil Kumar towers at an impressive 7 feet 6 inches. Kumar is not only a constable in the Jammu and Kashmir Police but also a wrestler, performing under the ring name ‘The Great Angaar.’
Before his acting debut, Kumar excelled in handball and volleyball, securing his police job under the sports quota. He even participated in a WWE Tryout in 2019. His diverse background adds depth to his role in Stree 2.
Here’s What Amar Kaushik Said About His Casting In Stree 2
Bollywood Hungama spoke to director Amar Kaushik about Kumar’s casting. Kaushik revealed, “The casting team found him. We wanted a man with such a height and he fit the bill.” He also explained, “We used his body shots while the face of Sarkata was generated through CGI.”
Stree 2 also features a star-studded cast, including Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee. The film also includes cameos by Akshay Kumar, Varun Dhawan, and Tamannaah Bhatia. This sequel to Stree (2018) is part of the Maddock Horror Comedy Cinematic Universe, joining other films like Bhediya (2022) and Munjya (2024).
