Ritesh Deshmukh who was last seen playing villain in Marjaavan is all set to star in Baaghi 3 along with Tiger Shroff. Ritesh is likely to play Tiger’s brother in the film.
Ritesh was surprised when he was offered the role. He told a daily, “I knew what Nadiad was going to offer. When he asked me to listen to a story of two brothers and Ahmed (Khan, director) came over for a narration, I was game.”
The actor thinks that the dynamic between his and Tiger’s character is like that of a mother and son.
“One is weak while the other is strong. My character may be the elder brother, but Tiger’s Ronnie behaves more like his mother,” Riteish added.
Meanwhile, Riteish will also work on Shivaji Maharaj’s trilogy, which will be directed by Sairat’s filmmaker Nagraj Manjule. Talk about the same the actor said, “I had wanted to work with Nagraj ever since I watched Fandry (the director’s debut film); this was before Sairat released. He, too, had wanted to make a film on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj for a while. When we met, everything just fell in place.” The actor also revealed that he will start prepping for the role soon.
