The highly anticipated Saiyaara title track is out, and it is as emotional and musically beautiful as everyone hoped. Produced by Yash Raj Films and directed by the master of romance Mohit Suri, Saiyaara, which stars Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, is turning into one of the biggest love tragedies of the year! The title track released on June 3rd is pulling at heartstrings and making headlines on social media already!
A Sad Voyage Into Lost Love
The video depicts the emotional breakdown the two characters shared in their relationship. Ahaan Panday, in his debut performance, has great use of emotions based on his character’s regret of the relationship as he watches Aneet Padda’s character move on. The enjoyment of their relationship is contrasted sharply against true heartbreak, showcasing Suri’s storytelling style, spotted in Aashiqui 2 and Ek Villain.

Behind The Music Of Saiyaara
The lyrically heavy number was composed by Tanishk Bagchi, Faheem Abdullah, and Arslan Nizami and choreographed by Vijay Ganguly, with the visuals conveying the melancholy in the lyrics through framed emotional beats. An already numerous overlay of modern romantic instrumentation adds even more clout, in regard to the film’s handling of heartbreak and longing, provided by Faheem Abdullah’s voice.
Mohit Suri On Curating The Soundtrack
In his own words, director Mohit Suri offered up the personal touch to the album:
“One thing that only a handful of close friends know about me is that I love meeting new composers, singers .. collecting melodies and songs much like people who love reading, collect books. So, the album of Saiyaara has my songs, thoughts and melodies that I have carefully collected and curated for over 5 years.”
Known for unforgettable love stories like Aashiqui 2 and Malang, it looks as though Suri is back in his element with Saiyaara, his first work with YRF.

Saiyaara marks the grand launch of Ahaan Panday, cousin of Ananya Panday, and up-and-comer Aneet Padda, in addition to the emotional soundtrack and experienced director. All expectations are high for the July 18, 2025, theatrical release.
