The Apoorva Lakhia-directed war drama has now missed its May window after approval hurdles interrupted the rollout, pushing the film’s theatrical release to June and adding fresh intrigue to one of Khan’s most closely tracked projects.

As part of that overhaul, Salman Khan reshot a substantial portion of the film. The revised version added more romance and a stronger backstory for his character, signalling a move away from a direct incident-based drama toward a more commercially mounted, emotionally layered war film. Chitrangda Singh is associated with the project, which also marks Salman Khan’s first collaboration with Apoorva Lakhia.
