Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are gearing up for Tiger 3, the third installment of the popular spy thriller franchise. The film is expected to be a part of the YRF Spy Universe, which also includes Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and Hrithik Roshan’s War. Fans are excited to see the crossover of these superstars on the big screen, and some have even come up with their own theories on how the films will be connected.
An amazing fan theory guesses how Tiger 3 climax will set up for Tiger vs Pathaan
One such fan theory, posted on Reddit, suggests that the climax of Tiger 3 will have a tragic twist, where Tiger and Zoya’s son will die in a mission, and Pathaan will be responsible for it. This will lead to a rift between the spy couple, and Zoya will turn into the antagonist in Tiger Vs Pathaan, seeking revenge from Pathaan aka Shah Rukh Khan for her son’s death. While this fan theory is a little flawed, it is still too good to be turned into a screenplay.
The fan theory also speculates that Zoya may join forces with Rubai, the female lead of Pathaan, played by Deepika Padukone who may also have a hidden agenda against Pathaan. The theory further states that Tiger Vs Pathaan will be the ultimate showdown between the two spies, and will also feature Hrithik Roshan as Kabir, who will try to stop the conflict.
Netizens react to this fan theory
While this fan theory is purely based on imagination and has no official confirmation, it is certainly intriguing and exciting for the fans of the Spy Universe. Some fans have also expressed their opinions on the theory, and suggested alternative scenarios for the crossover. For instance, one fan commented that Pathaan may kill Zoya instead of their son, and that would be more impactful for Tiger’s character.
A user reacted, “Not happening iss me tiger secondary lagega n will become Zoya vs Pathaan.
N Tiger ke climax mein pathaan nahin hai. Don’t think they will plant the seed of their clash in Tiger 3.” Another mindblowing plot was suggested by a user who said, “Frivolous stuff like disagreement on orders or a difference of opinions won’t hit as hard as Pathaan killing Zoya because he put his nation above his friendship with Tiger. The Spy Universe can move ahead easily without Katrina, IMO.” Another comment read, “Kat as Zoya is the best part of spyverse.”
Tiger 3 is slated to release on November 12, 2023. The film is directed by Maneesh Sharma, and also stars Emraan Hashmi as the main villain.
