Chiranjeevi, the Telugu superstar, is preparing to release the Malayalam action movie Lucifer in the near future. Salman Khan has reportedly been approached for a role in the film.

It is the official remake of the Malayalam blockbuster Lucifer, which was released in 2019. It is tentatively titled God Father. Following the relaxation of COVID-19’s limitation criteria, the film’s official launch took place a few months ago. In Hyderabad, the regular shoot will begin soon.

Prithviraj Sukumaran directed the Malayalam language thriller, while Mohan Raja will direct the Chiranjeevi starrer. It will be produced by Ram Charan and NV Prasad. According to Gulte News, the Telugu superstar approached Salman Khan for a role in the film, but the latter reportedly declined.

Salman was intended to play Prithviraj in the original film, but he only had around 5 minutes of screen time. His presence, though, was palpable throughout the film. The reason behind the superstar’s lack of interest in the project is unknown at this time.

Salman Khan is said to be preoccupied with a number of projects, and it is unclear whether the actor will be able to set dates for Chiranjeevi’s next film. According to the source, after Salman’s departure, the team will approach Chiyaan Vikram for the role.
