Since the release of his film Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, actor Salman Khan has been in the headlines recently. While the buzz surrounding the film continues, a report regarding another probable Salman project has appeared on the internet, and it concerns the Hindi remake of Thalapathy Vijay’s Master.
Salman was approached by the creators of the Hindi remake of Thalapathy’s Vijay’s Master to star in the film earlier this year, as we reported. Another storey claims that the celebrity is planning to make an announcement shortly.
Murad Khetani and Endemol Shine India, in collaboration with Seven Screen Studios, will produce the Hindi version of Thalapathy Vijay’s Master. Salman was allegedly shown Thalapathy Vijay’s Master before the 2021 lockout, according to the report. Reports also suggest that Salman had agreed to do the film, but the lockdown dragged things down.
The source informed a leading daily, “By the month-end, the Khandaan will head to Goa for a vacation. If all goes well, after returning from the holiday, he will announce his new releases. Meanwhile, the producers of the Master remake are scouting for an A-list star who can reprise Vijay Sethupathi’s role and stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Salman.”
Master, starring Thalapathy Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi, was a box office success when it was released in January 2021. Later, it was also available on an OTT platform. The story centres around Thalapathy Vijay’s character, JD, an alcoholic professor. Vijay Sethupathi played a gangster who opposes Thalapathy Vijay in the film.
