Ranbir Kapoor‘s upcoming film Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, is all set to be the longest film of his career. Over the last couple of weeks, the rumours have been making rounds that the runtime of “Animal” is about 3 hours and 30 minutes which has been denied by the trusted reports.

Run time of Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal
Now, according to the latest reports, the makers have locked the official theatrical runtime and it is just about 3 hours long.
The film, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Shakti Kapoor, has a runtime of 3 hours and 2 minutes, according to the trusted sources as well as official IMDb page. This makes it the longest film of Ranbir Kapoor, surpassing his previous films like Sanju (2 hours and 41 minutes), Tamasha (2 hours and 19 minutes) and Rockstar (2 hours and 39 minutes).
For Sandeep Reddy Vanga, “Animal” is tied with “Arjun Reddy” which was also 3 hours and 2 minutes long. Animal marks the first collaboration between Ranbir Kapoor and Sandeep Reddy Vanga, after his critically acclaimed and commercially successful Kabir Singh, which was a remake of Vanga’s Telugu hit Arjun Reddy.

Animal to release on December 1 in theaters
Animal is a crime drama that explores the father-son relationship “carved in blood”. The film’s teaser, which was released on October 13, 2023, has generated a lot of buzz among the fans. The film’s music is composed by Pritam, Vishal Mishra, Manan Bhardwaj, Shreyas Puranik, Jaani, Ashim Kemson, Harshavardhan Rameshwar and Gurinder Seagal, while the lyrics are penned by Manoj Muntashir, Jaani, Siddharth-Garima, Raj Shekhar, Bhupinder Babbal, Manan Bhardwaj, Ashim Kemson and Gurinder Seagal.
Animal is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Pranay Reddy Vanga, Murad Khetani and Krishan Kumar under the banners of T-Series Films, ST Film Ltd and Bhadrakali Pictures. The film is slated to release worldwide on December 1, 2023 in cinemas in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages. The film is expected to be a blockbuster at the box office and a milestone in Ranbir Kapoor’s career.
