Producer Bhushan Kumar has officially confirmed that the legendary song Sandese Aate Hai will be part of Border 2. The announcement was made at the grand teaser launch event of the film in Mumbai on Tuesday. This iconic patriotic track from the 1997 original film holds a special place in every Indian’s heart, and its return in the sequel has already created massive excitement among fans.
The event was attended by the lead actors Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty, along with director Anurag Singh and producers Bhushan Kumar, JP Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta. The team opened up about various aspects of the film and shared exciting details about how they are honoring the legacy of the original while bringing something fresh to audiences.
Recreated Version Launching On January 2
Bhushan Kumar shared that the makers will launch the recreated version of Sandese Aate Hai on January 2, next year. He revealed that they have kept the song very close to the original but have also added other singers to bring new dimensions. The most special part is that they are planning to launch it with the armed forces, making it a truly patriotic moment.
The T Series head emphasized that the team has kept the feel and emotion of the original song completely intact.
