Shah Rukh Khan’s latest film ‘Pathaan’, which also features Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, has been a huge success, with many celebrities praising his comeback on the big screen. Actor Sanjay Dutt and Sanjay Mishra recently joined the list of celebrities who lauded SRK’s performance in the film.
Sanjay Mishra, a talented actor in the Hindi film industry, is among many actors who have not received full recognition and opportunities despite their immense talent. Although he took a break during his initial years, Mishra has worked consistently in showbiz. In the movie Kaamyaab (2018), Mishra portrays the character of Sudheer, a ‘side actor’ who was once in demand but now struggles to find work.
Sanjay Mishra shared in an interview with the Indian Express about his favorite scene in the movie ‘Kaamyab’. The scene depicts Sudheer’s daydream of receiving a surprise call from a casting director and seeing himself playing a supporting character rather than a ‘side part’. Mishra revealed that the scene was shot in just one day, and he admired director Hardik Mehta’s ability to remember the lines better than him. Mishra also expressed his appreciation for Mehta’s direction, saying that they developed a great rapport on set.
Shah Rukh Khan and Sanjay Mishra have shared the screen in movies like ‘Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani’ and ‘Oh Darling Yeh Hai India’. Moreover, they have a connection through the movie Kaamyaab, which was co-produced by Shah Rukh’s production company, Red Chillies Entertainment.
Sanjay Mishra also talked about some nostalgic moments while shooting with Shah Rukh Khan. He told Indian Express, “Whenever I have worked with Shah Rukh, he has been fighting for something. To prove something, to experiment, to show that ‘look, this is what we can do with this movie.’ That has been his process, I would have never been able to do it. We had worked together first in Ketan Mehta’s 1995 film Oh Darling Yeh Hai India. We were all new then, and later, he presented my film with Kaamyaab.”
Sanjay Mishra also talked about the massive success of Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathaan’. He said, “It is wonderful to see Pathaan doing so well at the box office, Shah Rukh has shown us that we can dream again, he has shown that the audience is alive and hungry for more cinema.”
When Sanjay Mishra was informed that he had unknowingly quoted a dialogue from ‘Pathaan’, he chuckled and asked if it was true that the dialogue ‘Pathaan zinda hai’ was spoken.
On the other hand, Recently Sanjay Dutt as known as ‘Sanju Baba’ also praised Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan. During an interview Sanjay Dutt said, “I am very happy that Pathaan is such a big success & Shah Rukh Khan gave such a big blockbuster.”

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Pathaan’ is unstoppable at box office as it continues to perform over the 6th weekend.
