Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s office has recently been visited by a number of celebrities. Rumours of collaboration swirl every time a celebrity’s car pulls up to the filmmaker’s office. Deepika Padukone, Kartik Aaryan, and Ranbir Kapoor were rumoured to have visited the filmmaker’s office to explore ideas. All of the visits turned out to be pleasant.

Now it’s Sonam Kapoor Ahuja who’s been seen visiting Bhansali’s office, raising speculation about a film they’re working on together. “No such thing!” says an informed source. “Like all the other stars who were seen visiting Mr Bhansali’s office, Sonam just dropped in for a chat since they go back a long way.”
For those who missed it, Sanjay Bhansali introduced Sonam Kapoor in the 2007 film Saawariya. Despite the film’s failure at the box office, it launched the careers of both Sonam and Ranbir Kapoor.

Bhansali has maintained contact with Sonam. Her dropping in to see her mentor isn’t a sign of their collaboration being rekindled. Sanjay Leela Bhansali clarifies, “There are many actors who come to visit. We chat over a cup of tea. We don’t have to work together just because we are meeting socially.”
