There were news that Sanjay Leela Bhansali decided to put his most ambitious musical, Baiju Bawra on hold due to budget constraints. It was reported that how the Rs. 350 crore budget was not feasible for studios to invest in this Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt film. And now, as per reports in, there were the studios who SLB was in talks with for this multi-crore deal and they rejected film. But this is all rumour.
Bhansali Is Making Baiju Bawra
There were reports that Bhansali approached Jio Studios, RSVP, Applause and Pen Studios. And all these studios rejected the film. But we like to sources close to Bhansali and they completely refuted the rumour.
Source told, “The much hyped Baiju Bawra is very much on. Film is in pre production stage and it should go on floor in 2nd quarter of 2024. Film has budget and cast in place. These all are rumours that film is shelved.”
The film, which is said to be a musical drama based on the life of the legendary singer Baiju Bawra, will feature Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles.

Baiju Bawra will be a remake of the 1952 classic film of the same name, which was directed by Vijay Bhatt and starred Bharat Bhushan and Meena Kumari. The film was a musical hit and won two Filmfare Awards for Best Music Director (Naushad) and Best Singer (Mohammad Rafi).
Shah Rukh Is Not Contemplating Inshallah From Bhansali
Then there are reports in Pinkvilla which suggested that Shah Rukh might star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Inshallah, the film Salman walked out of post differences with director. It’s a mature love story spread across two continents. Source close to SRK’s production house told on condition of anonymity that he will be doing an action film next. He is not interested in doing any drama film at the moment such as Inshallah. So any news about the same is false.
