Sara Ali Khan recently revealed that she wants to do more meaty roles after receiving praise for her performance in Aanand L Rai’s ‘Atrangi Re.’ The actress also stated that she would prefer to avoid remakes for the time being.
Sara told a news website that the screen time and the position are important to her. After working on Aanand ji’s film, the actress revealed that she is now looking for meatier roles and wants to work in a variety of genres.
Sara, on the other hand, is adamant about staying clear from remakes. The actress went on to say that she wants to be away from them for a while. She is only interested in starring in the remake of ‘Atrangi Re.’ Sara starred alongside Varun Dhawan in ‘Coolie No 1,’ a remake of the 1995 film starring Govinda and Karisma Kapoor.
The actress went on to say that her favourite part of her profession is that she gets to do everything she wants, whether it’s dancing with Ranveer Singh on a high-energy song, acting with Dhanush, or performing comedy with Varun Dhawan.
Sara concluded by expressing her desire to collaborate with filmmakers such as Aanand L Rai and Rohit Shetty on a regular basis.
In the meantime, Sara just wrapped filming in Indore for Laxman Utekar’s untitled project starring Vicky Kaushal. For the first time, the actors will be seen sharing screen time.
