The script, described as a perfect blend of espionage and comedy, promises a commercial hit with its mix of scale, thrill, action, and humour. According to a source quoted in Pinkvilla, the trio of Karan, Guneet, and Aakash believe that Ayushmann Khurrana is the perfect fit for the role.

On the other hand, the makers were eyeing Sara Ali Khan for the female lead. “The film goes on floors in a couple of months, and the official announcement with the title is around the corner. The makers are in advanced stages of discussion with Sara Ali Khan to play the female lead,” the source disclosed.
Sara Ali Khan, last seen in Murder Mubarak, is yet to announce her next project officially. However, reports suggest that she may join Ayushmann in this venture, given the availability of her dates.
If things materialise, this collaboration would mark Ayushmann’s debut with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and his first project alongside Sara Ali Khan. Additionally, it would serve as the directorial debut of writer Aakash Kaushik. Fans eagerly await an official announcement with more details on this exciting project.
Ayushmann Khurrana Was Once REJECTED By Karan Johar
For the unversed, Ayushmann Khurrana faced rejection from Karan Johar back in 2007. The actor was told, “We only work with stars.”
Ayushmann had approached Karan at an awards ceremony in 2007, asking for his number and expressing his aspiration to become an actor.
Years later, on an episode of Koffee with Karan in 2018, Ayushmann, now a star himself, recounted this incident. He humorously narrated, “You gave me a landline number. The next morning, when I called and asked for Karan Johar, the person on the other end said something like, ‘We don’t audition outsiders and newcomers.'”
