Sara Ali Khan Wrapped Filming Karan Johar’s Ae Watan Mere Watan

Actress Sara Ali Khan said that the movie “Ae Watan Mere Watan” had finished filming. The Quit India Movement in 1942 served as the setting for the movie, which was directed by Kannan Iyer and produced by Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment.

Sara announced the news on Instagram and expressed her gratitude to Iyer for providing her the chance to portray a “powerful” character.

Sara Ali Khan has finished filming Ae Watan Mere Watan after finishing Murder Mubarak. The actress has finally finished the movie in which she will portray a freedom warrior.

I’m grateful that Kannan Sir chose me to play this strong character—who is a genuine symbol of strength, dignity, and passion. I am aware that I will always have this portion with me since certain pieces are indelible in our souls….  Jai Bholenath”

In a made-up story based on the 1942 Quit India Movement, Sara Ali Khan will play a brave, lionhearted liberation warrior.

Ae Watan Mere Watan is a thriller drama created by Darab Farooqui and Kannan Iyer that was based on actual occurrences. The movie is being made by Dharmatic Entertainment and is being produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra. It is being directed by Kannan Iyer. This movie is a production of Amazon.com.
