Actor Vidyut Jammwal has unveiled the official trailer and first look of his upcoming movie IB 71, set to be released in theaters nationwide on May 12. The espionage thriller is directed by filmmaker Sankalp Reddy, best known for National Award-winning 2017 war movie Ghazi. The movie is produced by Vidyut Jammwal and Abbas Sayyed, co-produced by Aditya Shastri. The film revolves around a two-front war between Indian intelligence agencies and the Pakistani establishment. The movie is based on true events and will tell the detailed account of the same.
IB 71 is Vidyut Jammwal’s first production. The film features a power-packed ensemble of Vidyut Jammwal, Anupam Kher, and Vishal Jethwa from the Mardaani fame in prominent roles. The teaser shows Jammwal playing the lead role as an Intelligence Bureau (IB) agent on a mission to save the nation. The teaser also features Anupam Kher and Vidyut Jammwal sporting attires of cops. The poster shows Jammwal donning an officer’s look, and a sketch of an airplane is made with red.

Latest Second Teaser Of IB 71 Is Out
Director Sankalp Reddy said working on IB 71 turned out to be an “absolute thrill ride” for him. He was drawn to the film’s intriguing premise and the opportunity to explore the world of undercover operations. With Vidyut Jammwal in the lead, he knew that he had an actor who not only had the physicality to pull off high-octane action scenes but also the depth and nuance to bring his character to life.
