Directed by Raj Mehta and produced by Dharma Productions, Prithviraj Productions, Magic Frames & Cape of Good Films, Selfiee stars Akshay Kumar, Diana Penty, Emraan Hashmi, Nushrratt Bharuccha. Both Akshay and Emraan are collaborating for the first time. The film is set to release on February 24, 2023.
The latest bollywood news is that Star studios released a humorous video showcasing behind the scenes. The 2 min 57 second video has Akshay stating about Emraan that “he is the same person as he is on screen” after working with him for the first time. Emraan jokingly replied, “No, it’s a little different” and further calls him “extremely gracious and super funny”.
Akshay seems to be playing superstar Vijay Kumar and Emraan, a superfan as Om Prakash Aggarwal, who has a lovely family with a 10-year old son. Emraan states “there is a drama in it because of the tussle between these two characters. Akshay, on the other hand, tells the reason for the twist remains a selfie.
