The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has raised strong objections to the shooting of a scene of the upcoming Bollywood movie Gadar 2 in a gurdwara. A video of Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel from the movie surfaced online, showing the two stars standing arm in arm in a gurdwara. The SGPC has demanded an apology from the director and producers of the movie and has asked for the removal of the scene from the movie.

SGPC Has Not Accepted Apology From Gadar 2 Team
The SGPC has stated that the shooting of the scene in the gurdwara is a violation of the Sikh code of conduct and has hurt the religious sentiments of the Sikh community. The SGPC has also warned that if the scene is not removed from the movie, they will take legal action against the director and producers.The director of the movie has issued an apology and has stated that the scene was shot without the knowledge of the crew and that they did not intend to hurt anyone’s religious sentiments.

Gadar: Ek Prem Katha Re Releases After 22 Years With Additional Scenes
Zee Studios has undertaken a remarkable endeavor to completely re-master the original film Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, investing a substantial sum of Rs. 2 crores. The re-mastered version not only enhances the viewing experience but also includes additional scenes that were not present in the film’s original release.
