Renowned choreographer Shabina Khan, who has previously worked on hit songs for Salman Khan’s films, has defended the superstar against recent criticism for his dance steps in the song ‘Naiyo Lagda’ from the upcoming film ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.’ Khan was responsible for choreographing the romantic number, which stars Salman Khan and Pooja Hegde.
Speaking about her involvement in the project, Khan shared, “One day I got a call from Salman sir’s team saying there’s a romantic song and bhai wants you to do it. They wanted this one to be different from the other romantic songs that the audience is used to. They approached me because bhai thinks I shoot romantic songs well.”
Khan went on to address the recent criticism that Salman has faced over his dance moves in the song. She dismissed the negative comments from trolls, saying, “Trolls are jobless ‘khali dimaag shaitan ka ghar.’ These are the kind of people who don’t spare megastars like Shah Rukh and Salman.” She added, “I remain unaffected if they troll a step that I created. I take it in a positive way that they troll me because I’ve done a good job and I’m famous. They only troll people who have made a name for themselves with hard work, because they are fools.”
The song ‘Naiyo Lagda’ is the love anthem of the film and was shot in the scenic valleys of Ladakh. The music for the song was composed by Himesh Reshammiya, who has previously worked on blockbuster songs for Salman Khan’s films, with lyrics by Shabbir Ahmed and Kamaal Khan. Palak Muchhal lent her voice to the track.
Despite the criticism, the song has been well received by fans and has garnered millions of views on social media. With Shabina Khan’s expert choreography and Salman Khan’s star power, ‘Naiyo Lagda’ is shaping up to excel in the film.
