Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar are one of the top actors of Bollywood and worked together in only one film, Dil To Pagal Hai. Recently, a throwback picture of Shah Rukh and Akshay playing cricket from the sets of the 1997 film, Dil To Pagal Hai is going viral on the social media.
The picture, which was shared on Reddit, shows them playing cricket in their free time. While Akshay can be seen wielding the bat and Shah Rukh turned as a wicketkeeper, the cast and crew are overlooking them. In the picture, Akshay is wearing a white shirt and beige pants with black shoes and Shah Rukh is wearing black shirt and denims.
Directed by Yash Chopra, the film was a blockbuster of 1997. Besides SRK and Akshay, The 26-year-old film also featured Karisma Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit in key roles. Now as the pictures doing rounds on the internet, their fans couldn’t stop their emotions while adoring the picture.
While a user said, “Good to see SRK letting Akshay bat”, the other added, “Kabhi kabhi jeetne ke liye kuch haarna padta hai….aur haar kar jeetne wale ko baazigar kehte hain!”. A third one said, “SRK’s a keeper”.
Earlier in November 2022, Shah Rukh shared his bond with Akshay in his Ask SRK sessions on Twitter. He said, “He is a wonderful friend for years now and hardworking to the core.”

Meanwhile, SRK will be soon seen in Pathaan which is slated to hit the theaters on January 25, 2023. He has also Jawan and Dunki in his pipeline. On the other hand, Akshay Kumar will be seen in Selfiee. He also has Soorarai Pottru remake and a untitled Marathi film.
