When Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan team up, entertainment is guaranteed. This was evident in their successful collaborations on films like Main Hoon Na (2004), Om Shanti Om (2007), and Happy New Year (2014). After nearly a gap of nine years, the duo is planning to work together once again, although the project is still in the initial stages of discussion.
According to an insider, Farah Khan is gearing up to make her directorial comeback with an exciting masala entertainer, and she has found support from her friend Shah Rukh Khan, who will be producing the film. Initially, a different studio was supposed to back the project, and there were discussions about Shah Rukh Khan playing the lead role.
However, the storyline has undergone changes, requiring a different set of actors for the movie. Presently, Shah Rukh’s production house, Red Chillies, is occupied with the preparations for the release of Atlee’s Jawan and the ongoing shooting of Aryan Khan’s debut web series Stardom.

Nevertheless, a preliminary agreement has been reached between Farah and the production house. If everything goes smoothly, an official announcement is expected later this year, and filming may commence by the end of 2023, as shared by the insider.
