Earlier we have announced that Ali Abbas Zafar is working on Mr. India 2 and that Ranveer Singh was in talks for the film. The announcement was made by Zee Studios and the director.
Ali wrote on Twitter, “Excited to partner with @ZeeStudios_ for an epic trilogy #MrIndia! It is a huge responsibility to carry forward an iconic character loved by everyone. Currently, working on the script, no actor has been locked till now. Once we lock the first draft of the script, casting begins!”
Now according to the latest update Shah Rukh Khan has been approached for the role of Mogambo. Mogambo was the iconic villain played by late Amrish Puri.
It has been also reported that Ranveer Singh Will be asked to play Arun Verma aka Mr. India played by Anil Kapoor.
If we believe the reports then SRK and Ranveer meet during the test shoot.
Meanwhile, original film director Shekhar Kapir is not happy with the makes since he wasn’t asked about the film.
Even Anil Kapoor’s daughter Sonam Kapoor is miffed that her father wasn’t informed about the development.
