Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, Dunki is a movie about a Punjabi boy who moves to Canada, with immigration being a prominent theme. The film marks the first collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan and Hirani, as well as the first time that Khan and Pannu will be seen together on screen.
In a viral video that has been circulating on social media, Shah Rukh Khan and Taapsee Pannu can be seen shooting for a shopping sequence in Kashmir. The video shows the two actors walking through a market, with Khan carrying shopping bags and Pannu wearing a traditional Kashmiri outfit.
Apart from shooting, the actors also took some time out to explore the local markets and go on a shopping spree. In another video that has surfaced online, Shah Rukh Khan can be seen posing with hotel staff in Kashmir, sporting a cool hairstyle.
According to reports, following the end of the Kashmir schedule, Shah Rukh Khan will film a significant underwater sequence for the movie. While it will not be an action sequence, it is expected to play a crucial role in advancing the film’s plot. Nonetheless, the shoot’s underwater location has yet to be determined.
