Shah Rukh Khan who is celebrated as one of India’s most prominent cultural icons, attended the World Government Summit (WGS) in Dubai on February 14. During his session titled Timeless Success: A Conversation with Shah Rukh Khan, the superstar shared his thoughts about working in Hollywood.
Shah Rukh Spoke About Working In Hollywood And Turning Down Slumdog Millionaire
Shah Rukh spoke about Hollywood offers. He said that he was never offered a massive film from West, be it English cinema or Hollywood. He accepted that he was offered Slumdog Millionaire but he turned down as host of game shows was too mean in script.
During the conversation, the host asked the superstar why he hasn’t crossed over to Hollywood. Shah Rukh Khan said, “I want to end my career, which is far from ending right now. I have another 35 years to go. I really want to make that film which is loved by the whole world. And nobody on a big stage asks me ‘Why haven’t you crossed over’. That film should cross me over. That’s my dream!”
