The current plan involves an 18-day climax shoot split across two schedules. The team will begin with a week-long leg in South Africa from April 26, followed by a 10-day Mumbai schedule. A source close to the development said, “Siddharth Anand has planned highly stylized and elaborate action set pieces for the climax. The South Africa schedule is ready to roll, while another team is already preparing for the Mumbai schedule. SRK, Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone and Abhishek Bachchan will all be part of these sequences.”
This international schedule comes after the film’s Dubai shoot in April was called off amid tensions in the Middle East. The production is set to wrap this climax block by May 15, while principal photography is slated for completion by September. With that key action leg now in motion, King is entering a crucial stretch, one that will define the scale and visual identity of its final act.
