Shah Rukh Khan’s much-anticipated action-thriller ‘Pathaan’ has broken all records at the box office, setting a new benchmark that will be hard to match. Despite the pre-release controversies, the film’s hype only added to its success, with audiences celebrating it like a festival in theatres across the country. Now, there’s an exciting update for fans eagerly waiting to catch the movie on OTT platforms.
According to reports in PeepingMoon, ‘Pathaan’ will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video from March 22nd, 2023. The film will be an extended version of the theatrical cut and will include previously deleted scenes.
One such scene that has been elaborated on in the extended cut is when SRK’s character recounts his childhood and how he was found inside a cinema hall named ‘Navrang’. In the OTT release, this incident is expanded upon, revealing that ‘Pathaan’ was found in Navrang cinema.

‘Pathaan’ has been a massive hit, grossing over 521 crore nett in Hindi and 1045 crore worldwide, an impressive feat for an action film that is often considered front-loaded.
Meanwhile after ‘Pathaan’ breaking box office records and becoming a blockbuster hit, it seems that SRK is all set to repeat his success with ‘Jawan’, which is set to release just a few months after ‘Pathaan’.
