After a weekend filled with festivities at his Alibaug property and a special fan meet on November 2, Shah Rukh Khan is all set to resume shooting for his highly anticipated film King at Yash Raj Studios in Andheri on November 5.
The actor is not easing into the schedule either. The upcoming leg of the shoot will feature an intense action sequence that promises to be one of the film’s most ambitious set pieces yet. According to sources, the stunt unit has been rehearsing for nearly three weeks to perfect this high complexity action block that will showcase Shah Rukh Khan in full action hero mode.
What To Expect From The Action Sequence
The 15 to 20 day schedule will focus on a hybrid chase combat sequence that combines multiple elements of action choreography. The sequence begins with hand to hand combat that seamlessly transitions into tactical gun choreography. But that is not all. The set piece will also feature wire assist jumps and close quarter grappling that will test the superstar’s physical prowess.
The team is working with a custom designed stunt rig specifically created for this sequence. What makes this even more exciting is that Shah Rukh Khan will reportedly perform several key beats himself, proving once again why he remains one of the most dedicated actors in the industry.

King marks a special collaboration for Shah Rukh Khan as it is his first on screen project with daughter Suhana Khan. The film also stars Abhishek Bachchan in a pivotal role. Directed by Siddharth Anand, this action thriller sees Shah Rukh Khan playing an assassin, a character that fans are already excited to see him portray.
The film went on floors in June 2025 and reunites the superstar with Siddharth Anand after their massive blockbuster Pathaan in 2023. The director unveiled the first look of the film on November 2, giving fans a glimpse into the gritty and intense world of King.

By the end of the year, Siddharth Anand plans to wrap up most of the film’s dramatic portions. After that, the team will focus on completing some primary action sequences and songs.
