Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up to celebrate his significant 60th birthday on November 2. The reigning icon of Bollywood is typically recognized for making a spectacular appearance for his fans on his birthday at Mannat.
However, if the rumors are to be believed, this year’s festivities are set to be particularly remarkable. According to a report from ETimes, the superstar has selected his tranquil Alibaug residence as the location for the grand event, where he intends to mark his special day in the company of family and close friends.
As per the report, citing insiders, invitations have already been dispatched to Khan’s close circle, with guests anticipated to begin arriving from November 1. In past years, Shah Rukh’s birthday celebrations have typically occurred at Mannat, his iconic residence in Bandra, where fans from all over the nation gather outside to extend their wishes at midnight.
This year, however, signifies a shift in tradition. Mannat has reportedly been undergoing significant renovations for several months, leading the Khan family to temporarily relocate to a rented home. This, according to sources, is a primary factor for moving the birthday celebration to the Alibaug property.
In the meantime, the actor’s eagerly awaited upcoming film, King, directed by Siddharth Anand, is already creating considerable excitement. There is speculation that the superstar may surprise fans with something related to the film during his birthday festivities.
The action-thriller, which marks Shah Rukh’s first on-screen collaboration with his daughter Suhana Khan, also boasts a star-studded cast including Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Arshad Warsi, and Raghav Juyal. Recent discussions online have suggested that a CBFC certificate for King has emerged, further igniting rumors that an official announcement or teaser could be imminent.
King is also poised to signify Shah Rukh Khan’s return to cinemas after a two-year hiatus. The actor last ruled the box office in 2023 with a remarkable streak that included Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki — three consecutive hits that reaffirmed his unparalleled star power.
