The collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee has been in the news for a while, and the movie, which is yet untitled, is finally due to start shooting in October 2021. After filming Pathan, the superstar will shoot for this commercial entertainer. It will be made on a grand cinematic scale, with a budget of around 200 crores.
Nayanthara, the South superstar, has been cast as the female lead in the action-packed movie, according to rumourmongers. Later, we revealed that Sanya Malhotra and Sunil Grover has been cast in a pivotal parts in the film. Now we have another update from the film, keep reading to know.
The SRK-Atlee squad just got bigger as Tamil star Kathir joins the team. Kathir has been roped in to play an important role in this untitled film. For the uninformed, Kathir is known fir his breakthrough performances in films like Madha Yaanai Koottam (2013), Kirumi (2015), Vikram Vedha (2017), Pariyerum Perumal (2018) and Sigai (2019).
Earlier, in a chat session with fans, Atlee called Kathir a ‘rockstar’. The filmmaker’s last collaboration with Kathir was Vijay starrer Bigil which was garnered a lot of praises from critics as well as the audience.
This untitled collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee will be produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and is expected to be the production house’s biggest in terms of scale and expense.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is now filming Pathan, a film directed by Sidharth Anand and also starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham.
