Amid the Covid crises, Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur starrer film Jersey was postponed until the situation gets better. The film was earlier slated to e released on 31st December and the promotions of the film was on a full swing but due to Covid, it got postponed.

Now, as many other films have re-scheduled their releases, Shahid fans are eagerly waiting for the release of the highly awaited sports drama. Now a source close to the team has revealed that the film will hit the theatres either on February 18th or 25th. With many producers lining up new release dates, Jersey is expected to arrive in February.
The story of the film revolves around a failed cricketer who struggles to buy his son a jersey. A raw, relatable, and real story, Jersey is a celebration of the human spirit. Making you believe in the power of dreams, the film is set to keep you on the edge of your seat. Directed by Gowtham Tinnanuri, the film is a remake of a Telugu film titled as same. The film also stars Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Kapur in pivotal roles.
