It has now been revealed that the star has joined hands with a Malayalam director for his next.
Shahid Kapoor To Play A Rebel Police Officer In His Next
Shahid Kapoor is teaming up with Malayalam director Rosshan Andrrews for a heart-thumping action thriller. Andrrews had previously directed acclaimed hits like Kayamkulam Kochunni and Salute. The actor will be seen in the lead role and the film will be produced by Zee Studios and Roy Kapur Films.
This will be the first time Roy Kapur Films and See Studios will team up for a production venture. The film hasn’t been titled as of yet but plot details have been revealed. As per the site, the film will revolve around a rebellious police officer (presumably played by Shahid Kapoor), who will find himself getting entangled in a very high-profile case.
The movie will have plenty of intrigue and mystery that will take viewers on a rollercoaster ride. Fans of the actor are hoping that the project is executed well or the entire thing could fall apart.
Film is set to be remake of Mumbai Police and Pooja Hegde plays the female lead.
