Shahid Kapoor, who was last seen in Bloody Daddy, is all set to star in a mythological drama. Yes, you are reading. If reports are to be believed then Shahid has teamed up with Vashu Bhagnani for his next film. And this will be the first time he will play a mythological hero role. PeepingMoon.com has shared in its exclusive report that the film is based on the Hindu epic Mahabharata and depicts the fascinating and tragic tale of Guru Dronacharya’s son, Ashwatthama.
Ambitious Project Ashwatthama To Go On Floor Soon
PeepingMoon.com quoted an industry source saying, “Vashu Bhagnani and Jackky Bhagnani have been developing this ambitious project since early this year and are determined to create a visual spectacle that promises audiences a cinematic experience like never seen before in Indian cinema. It will be mounted on a humongous scale with a global VFX team and an ensemble cast comprising actors from across the Indian film industry. Shahid is already signed on and will undergo intense physical training to embody the character of Ashwatthama.”
Ashwatthama delves into the Legend of The Immortal Warrior Ashwatthama from the Mahabharata, believed to walk among us even today. Set in the present era marked by rapid technological advancements and humanity’s remarkable capabilities, Ashwatthama confronts the challenges of modernity, facing off against formidable adversaries in a high-octane, action-packed narrative. Shahid Kapoor is currently shooting for Deva. He just delivered a box office hit with Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya which earned more than 85 crore nett in India. Film was produced by Maddock Films.
