Shamshera is a direction by Karan Malhotra and it is all set to be released in theatres only.

After Sanju, fans are eagerly waiting for Ranbir Kapoor’s next film. The actor has got a lot of big projects in his hands which includes Brahmastra, Animal, Luv Ranjan’s next, PK Sequel and Shamshera.

Now, we have the latest update from the film. According to the reports, Shamshera’s digital rights have been sold to Amazon Prime Video whereas the Satellite rights are bought by Star Network. The theatrical rights of the film are with Yash Raj Studios and the music rights are with Yash Raj music.

Shamshera is set in the period 1800s and is a high-scale period project that will see Sanjay Dutt and Ranbir Kapoor share the screen space for the first time and fans are enthralled by it.

The film will also star Vaani Kapoor opposite Ranbir, and Sanjay Dutt will be seen as an antagonist in the film. The film was supposed to release in 2020. However, the pandemic delayed the project.
