The cyber police nabbed Sanjay Saha, producer of ‘Haddi’ film in connection to the OTT (Over-the-top) scam. He is alleged to have duped prominent bollywood stars of lakhs by vowing them to post their movies on OTT platforms.
He reportedly put out the bogus letters of service providers. Victims who fell prey to the gang were Actor Vivek Oberoi and producer Gaurang Doshi. Saha is said to be the key person involved in it.
“We got a tipoff that Sanjay Saha was to visit his Andheri (W) home. We laid a trap and arrested him,” Times Of India quoted an officer as saying. He added, “He was produced before the holiday court which remanded him to police custody.”
Police had nabbed Rajat Kumar Mourya, 29, from the place where he resides in Jogeshwari. He allegedly revealed about roles of Saha, Radhika, Anup Singh, Akash, Akshat Suluja in it. Following that, four more people have asked for help in this regard from the police as per reports.
