Recently seen in Brahmastra, Alia Bhatt, who married Ranbir Kapoor a few months ago, said that she will launch her Maternity-Wear line tomorrow and introduced what led her to make this decision.
Pregnant Alia stated she had to compromise on her outfit and style during this phase. Taking to Instagram, she said, “Do I buy brands I already wear but in a bigger size? Should I raid Ranbir’s wardrobe? And just because my body is changing doesn’t mean my sense of style has to, right?”
Alia felt overwhelmed when she bought clothes for herself. “Comfort took priority over any ‘airport looks’. What started off as me trying to fill a gap in my existing wardrobe, led to an entire maternity collection. And I can’t wait to give you a sneak peek tomorrow,” she added.

She wore baggy denims and breezy ethnic ensembles to relax herself. Gangubai Kathiawadi actress stated, “added elastic to my favourite jeans, designed shirts that I didn’t have to share with my husband, and wore flowy dresses so as to not invite any unwanted belly-touching.”
Alia also has her own kids-clothing brand named Ed-a-Mamma that was launched in 2020. She said at that time many asked her why she is opening it as she doesn’t have kids, adding, “Now I’m launching my own line of maternity-wear. I don’t think anyone will ask why :)”
