Shraddha Kapoor To Start Working On Stree’s Prequel From August, More Details Inside!

Shraddha has agreed to reprise her scary character from Stree in the sequel.

Stree is one of Shraddha Kapoor’s most remarkable works. The actress played the gorgeous ghost in the film, which also starred Rajkummar Rao. With Roohi and Bhediya being a part of the universe, Stree also opened the doors for Dinesh Vijan’s horror-comedy franchise. While fans await the release of Bhediya, Shradhha is rumored to be returning to the horror-comedy genre for a prequel to Stree.

According to a PeepingMoon story, Shraddha has agreed to reprise her scary character from Stree in the sequel. According to the source, the film will begin shooting later this year.

A source told the publication, “Expanding the universe further, the team is now working on the second parts of these movies to establish the lead characters before they start crossing paths in each other’s stories. Vijan’s next film in the MHCU tells the backstory of the girl who came to Stree and the complications she brought along. It’s a prequel to ‘Stree’ and will see Shraddha reprising her role from the 2018 sleeper hit.”

Aditya Sarpotdar, a Marathi filmmaker, is rumored to be directing the film. Mauli, The Sholay Girl, Zombivali, and The Raiker Case from the Voot Select series are among the filmmaker’s past credits.

Shraddha is now filming her forthcoming film with Ranbir Kapoor while we wait for the creators to confirm the news. Luv Ranjan is the producer of the untitled film. Ranbir and Shraddha’s debut collaboration awith filmmaker Luv Ranjan is in this film. Next year, on March 8, 2023, the film will be released to coincide with Holi.
