Helmed by Pushkar Ojha and Sagar Ambre, Yodha is an upcoming thriller movie starring Siddharth Malhotra, Disha Patani, Raashii Khanna. It’s a film produced by Karan Johar-led Dharma Productions.
With Pen India Limited as its distributor, it will hit the theatres in 2023 because of a delay caused by COVID-19. Malhotra’s brilliant performance was well appreciated in Shershaah. He is set to have another army role in Yodha where he will play a soldier battling with terrorists who hijack an aircraft.
The first glimpse of it was revealed last year. Now, the actor will start a new schedule in Manali, where he will be in action mode. It is reportedly based on a factual incident from ’90s. According to a report, the aerial action space will be the first time for Dharma Productions.
On November 21, Karan shared the first look of Yodha. He had stated, “After conquering the peaks, I am proud to present Sidharth Malhotra back with power in the first of the action franchise by Dharma Productions – #Yodha. Directed by the dynamic duo – Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha.”
Hasee Toh Phasee, Student of the Year, Kapoor and Sons are films when Malhotra and Karan both joined hands to work together. Meanwhile, Malhotra starrer Thank God, along with Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh as lead roles, to be released on October 25.
