Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra has resumed shooting for his upcoming action-packed film, Yodha, after celebrating his first Holi post his marriage with Kiara Advani. Malhotra, who gave a sneak peek into his Holi festivities on social media, has now taken to Instagram to inform his fans about him getting back to work.
Yodha, directed by Pushkar Ojha and Sagar Ambre, is expected to be Dharma Productions’ first offering in the aerial action space. The movie will also be co-produced by filmmaker Shashank Khaitan’s banner Mentor Disciple Films. According to reports, the film is based on a true incident from the ’90s and is expected to feature some adrenaline-pumping stunt sequences.
Malhotra, who is set to star alongside Raashii Khanna and Disha Patani in the movie, recently shared a picture of himself holding a rifle while shooting for an action sequence. The actor is also seen sporting a tee and denims in the photo. Malhotra also shared another photo of a red carpet spread on the stairs with the caption, “#Yodha Red Carpet Ready”.
In an earlier statement, the actor had said, “As an artist, you would want to work on scripts that bring out the best in you. This truly unveiled a newer version of me, which I am very thankful for. The amount of love I have received from audiences and fans is magical. I can’t wait to showcase what Yodha has for them.”
The release date of the film is November 11, 2023. Yodha is expected to be a thrilling action entertainer that showcases the best of Malhotra’s skills and talents as an actor.
