After the much-anticipated release of ‘Yodha‘, Bollywood heartthrob Sidharth Malhotra is all set to captivate audiences with another action-packed film. The actor, known for his dynamic roles and intense performances, has signed on for an action drama to be directed by Balbinder Singh Janjua.
About Sidharth’s new action film
The new project, promises to be a gripping tale of country, guilt, redemption, and familial bonds. Malhotra’s character will navigate the complexities of protecting one’s home and dealing with the burdens of the past. This marks a departure from his previous roles and is expected to showcase his versatility as an actor.
Balbinder Singh Janjua, whose recent work ‘Tera Kya Hoga Lovely‘ went under the radar, is excited to bring this story to life. He shared with Bollywood Hungama, “I will be starting my next film which is an action drama with Sidharth Malhotra in July. It’s a story about protecting your mitti (soil), about family and other relationships. Sidharth has never done anything like this.”
Fans of Malhotra can look forward to a summer of thrills as ‘Yodha‘ hits the screens this Friday, followed by the new action drama’s anticipated start in July. With Dharma Productions’ ‘Kill‘, directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, also in the pipeline, it seems the action genre is set to sizzle this season.

Yodha is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Shashank Khaitan’s Mentor Disciple Films. The film is slated to hit the theatres on March 15. Yodha is expected to set screens on fire, as Malhotra once again proves his mettle as an action hero.
