Sikandar Shoot Kickstarted From June 18
The shooting commenced on 18 June at Mumbai’s iconic Mehboob Studio. Social media was abuzz as Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment (NGE) shared behind-the-scenes glimpses from the set.
Even Salman Khan has just now shared the BTS pic from the shoot where he is seen with the director. Taking to his Instagram, the actor wrote, “Looking forward to #Eid2025 with team #Sikandar”
The images captured by NGE show producer Sajid Nadiadwala, director AR Murugadoss, and photographer Avinash Gowariker in action.
Gowariker shared the moment on his Instagram last night and expressed his excitement: “20th Film Shoot with my brother #SajidNadiadwala. #Sikandar. @a.r.murugadoss @wardakhannadiadwala @nadiadwalagrandson MEHBOOB STUDIOS.”
Rashmika Mandanna’s Look Test Video For Sikandar OUT
The announcement of Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead has further heightened anticipation for the film. Fans have been eagerly awaiting updates and the latest images from the set have only added to the excitement.
The photos show the team engaged in look tests and a photo shoot, with a video clip also making rounds on social media.

Salman Khan To Have A Bearded Look In The Film?
Salman Khan revealed the film’s title on Instagram earlier this year, coinciding with the festive occasion of Eid on 11 April.
In his post, he shared a title slate and wrote, “Iss Eid Bade Miyan Chote Miyan aur Maidaan ko dekho aur agli Eid Sikandar se aa kar milo…. Wish u all Eid Mubarak!” This announcement has set high expectations for Sikandar, slated for an Eid release in 2025.
Adding to the intrigue, Salman Khan was recently seen sporting a new bearded look, hinting at his character’s appearance in the film.
Musician Sajid Khan shared a picture on Instagram featuring himself with Salman, who looked dapper in a beige t-shirt and a silver chain. The post read, “Time spent with my brother is the best time @salmankhan enjoyed after a long time at Panvel farmhouse. God bless you, bhai #friendship #star.”
For the unversed, the action sequences for Sikandar are expected to be designed by the team behind the Mission Impossible series.
According to a media report, the action directors who orchestrated the famous jump scene in Mission Impossible are set to bring their expertise to Sikandar. However, this collaboration has yet to be officially confirmed by Salman Khan and the film’s team.
The combination of Salman Khan’s star power, Rashmika Mandanna’s charm, A.R. Murugadoss’s direction, and Sajid Nadiadwala’s production is set to make Sikandar one of the most awaited films in recent times.
